Dr. Jonathan Huber
Obstetrician - Gynecologist
Dr. Huber is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Huber graduated with dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Ottawa. He then received his Master’s of Science in Human Sexuality at the University of Guelph in 2002 followed by his Medical Doctorate from Queen’s University in 2006. He completed his post-graduate residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queen’s University in 2011.
Dr. Huber currently has a clinical practice in Ottawa in general gynecology with a focus on family planning, disorders of menstruation, pelvic pain, female sexual function and dysfunction, and other common gynecologic concerns. His clinical and research interests include genital pain disorders as well as optimal sexuality. He is Past-President of the Canadian Sex Research Forum (www.canadiansexresearchforum.com), Canada’s largest inderdisciplinary sexological research organization. Dr. Huber is a collaborator with the University of Ottawa’s Optimal Sexuality Research Team, the Human Sexuality Research Laboratory and is currently collaborating on a project aimed at understanding the involvement of pelvic floor muscles in dyspareunia
